“Many people from my generation have found in tourism the opportunity to learn about the different realities of a changing, globalized world. After over 32 years in this field, I believe that this view of the outside world has allowed us to join in globalization without losing our local identity, and thus to recognize ourselves as “qosqorunas” (people of Cusco).
Today, after those years of learning and work, I feel proud to have directed Andean Lodges and the projects of the Chillca and Osefina communities, since these represent the motivating force of our work: building an inclusive and equitable society”.
